Whose Obligation is it to Disclose Pertinent Information About Charleston Homes?

In South Carolina, home sellers are required by law to complete a Seller's Disclosure form. This details any known defects or issues with the home (issues known by seller while they lived in the home).

However, it is still advisable to have a home inspection performed--often, there can be issues the homeowner is unaware of.

If a home seller did not live in the home as a primary residence, they are exempt from having to fill out a Seller's Disclosure.
